Is the 955 THAT buggy?

I know this, like many product forums, will have lots of posts regarding problems with the product. Is the 955 that buggy? I have a 935 and don’t recall any major issues. But it might be just my use cases to reveal bugs.

I've had the 955 since launch and I'm loving it. Can't say I recognize any of the bugs that everyone has been talking about.. I run 7 days a week with GPS, external HR sensor and Stryd foot pod attached…

I also had mine for 7 months and yes, it is stable. At this point two issues affect me directly: 1) Running threshold doesn't sync to the app. Every time I have to take a picture of the detection notification with my phone. 2) Cycling FTP detection doesn't work. I'm not saying that I'm regretting buying the watch or that I'm upset. I'm just saying that bugs like these, after 7-8 months on the market and... no communication about it from Garmin to speak of, don't demonstrate a great development focus.

Yes power cycling the watch fixes a lot of issues.

Used the 945 and 955 now, I don't recall the need to factory reset.

By the way, how is your battery life and settings like?

I think I can feel the drain is slightly faster on 13.22.

I have SPO only overnight. 50% light during day and 5 during sleep. Use touch for activities and generally. I used to watch the battery quite closely at the outset but haven't recently. I average around 0.6% per hour for a day including approx an hour with Full GPS activity. I just charge when I shower . Of course given we are always updated software and testing things when it charges whilst connected to laptop...

For my use case battery isn't an issue . i am used to charging devices like phones and prior apple watch so to charge whilst I shower and syncing/updating is not an issue.

I did have some issues with the BT drawing lots of battery but that seems to be resolved.

I am on 14.08 now. I haven't noticed a change in battery behavior.
