turn indications on navigate: how?

When I used 945 I had turn indications with vibration when I was near the next turn (50m), but now with navigate on 955 there are no those indications: why?

  • I've done multiple courses on the 955. Turn-by-turn navigation works fine if you enable the option in Garmin Connect. Sometimes I've noticed that the watch doesn't give turn notifications when it should, but that's an issue with how the turn course points are being generated by GC, and not a bug in the watch.

  • I think  is referring to the difference in how 945 and 955 interprets turns. I attached a screenshot below. The 945 visualized upcoming turns with a big arrow in the turn itself, which is missing on the 955. On the other hand, the 955 shows chevrons (small arrows) along the path indicating the direction. IMO, it would be great if the 955 would combine both. Showing only the chevrons, it is not that clear where exactly the next turn will be.

  • Exactly. So there is no possibility of an indication like on the 945?

  • Sadly enough, I am not aware of any possibility to get indications like on the 945. Disappointed
