Syncing frequency - weather status

Hi, I have a question. The weather glance gets it's information from the phone. But only after syncing. I notice that the sync frequency is very low, so I often have no actual weather information on my watch. After manually syncing, it show up on the watch. So is there a setting to increase the syncing frequency?

EDIT: I also get a exclamation mark in the weather glance. That means "waiting for information" But I can wait forever :-(

The exclamation means there is no connection to the phone. maybe you need to reset the BT connection to the phone

Ensure GC App remains open on the phone

Do you have weather set to location fixed or linked to phone location?

As an additional step, I do this if I am having BT connection issues: (based on iPhone)

1. in BT settings forget device

2. Long power down the watch (hold in light button until the watch powers off by itself) , after say 20 s restart the watch. You wont loose data like this.

3. Remove GC app from Phone

4. Restart iPhone

5. Reinstall GC app and sign in to it.

6. Re-pair the watch to GC app

There is a phone connection. All data is synchronised between Phone and Watch as far as I can tell. Just the weather status update is once every XX hours. And once it updates, the watch says it is information from a few hours ago. At this moment, it is showing data from yesterday when I was in another region. So it makes no sense...

It might be because of the rights of GC on the phone. I found out Location is set to "on during usage of app". I switch it to "alway on". That might solve the issue.

It definitely solved my issue. It was just in the setting of locations rights of Garmin Connect. Works like a charm now.
