Availability of 13.22 FW update

The FW update 13.22 has been released some weeks ago (rollout status 100%). Unfortunately it is still not available for my FR 955 Solar (Location: Germany).

Does anybody has similar problems?

    Suggestion:

    • Set up syncing over WiFi (Settings -> Connectivity -> WiFi)
    • Manually start a WiFi sync from that menu
    • Go back to System settings menu, then select Software Update.
    • The update should be available to install from that menu.

    Or connect to PC and use Garmin Express. That is what I generally do.

    Some of us use Linux as our daily driver and prefer not to have to fire up VirtualBox just for Garmin Express (which takes ages unless Windows 10/11 has access to huge amounts of memory).

    it could be that garmin have halted the rollout, as they did for 13.21, having found that 13.22 is also causing a lot of problems - look through the recent forum topics and you'll understand.

    whatever the case, if you haven't got it yet count yourself lucky and consider disabling automatic updates to ensure you don't get it until they have sorted it out. i wish i didn't have the update - there are a few nice new features but lots of bugs that ruin the watch.

    Maybe you're right on that and it has been paused by Garmin for some reason. But then I would expect an announcement.

    Thanks for the WiFi hint, but that helped not either.

    First check if the fw update is available to your device yet. Go into connect.garmin.com (web on pc) log in and check on the top rigt watch icon whether the fw is available for you. If yes there shoulb be a dot next to the watch icon and by clicking it shows the details.

    If the web garmin connect detects the fw update, then your update procedure is wrong over wifi, phone or express. In case this site doesn’t show you the update then there is no reason to find a solution, you cannon install it.

    ps: update will happen only if the battery of your watch is over 50 or 60% charged, the auto update feature of the fr955 system settings is enabled.
