Forerunner 955- Auto Step Goal Bug

I have been using the Garmin 955 for the last couple of months now without any issues, but since updating to the latest firmware 13.22 a couple of weeks ago, I have been seeing an issue with the auto step goal- which definitely seems like a bug.

The auto step goal feature was working as expected since the time I purchased the watch- but it has been behaving weirdly for the last week or so- I have attached a screenshot to explain the issue.

The step goal looks fine upto Dec 3, but then it dropped to 7140 from the earlier target of about 12.5k steps inspite of me having met the goal. Again- it adjusted as expected over the next few days- before dropping to 7140 again this morning- and I had recoeded over 18000 steps yesterday (257%). I dont understand the reason for this.

Also, when it reset to 7140 on 4th- it was post recording a Multisport workout (this is another bug- the watch does not show data for multisport activities- it has to be checked on phone/ website)- and this morning it reset to 7140 as the goal for the day to begin with.

I have changed timezones on both these days- 3rd Dec and 8th December- but I never faced this bug when I flew between timezones the last couple of months (and being a professional pilot- I fly a lot more than the average public)- so this is definately somethig new and a bug post the firmware update.

Has anyone else also faced this issue. Is this a bug? How do we fix this?
