Sleep Tracking Inaccuracies?

Since I replaced my Vivoactive devices (3 and 4) with the Forerunner 955,  my sleep tracking is different and seems strange.

1. I get very little deep or REM sleep. Much less than recorded with VVA 3 or 4.

2. I get much more awake time. Some when I do not remember being awake and some when I did get up but it records longer than I was awake

3. It is 100% accurate knowing when I go to sleep and when I get up.

I am thinking of getting a fitbit to compare with.
