No GPS signal in 50 minutes of walking?

Hello there, Turkish walker here :)

This issue has been happening quite a lot lately, although my watch is set to "THE BEST SIGNAL" i am not getting any.

Sometimes the watch acquires GPS signal immidiately, sometimes it takes 5 minutes but this time is my record... It is 50 minutes.

I've just updated my watch to v13.22 but there is no changelog about GPS...

Really sad. Is my watch faulty?

    It may help to synchronise the watch with your phone a few hours before you start your activity, so that localized GPS Assistance data can be downloaded to it. Without it, it requires about 10 minutes to download the almanac+ephemeris to from the satellites themselves, more if the signal is interrupted.

    Also works using GC with PC I believe as Garmin told me to do that once when I had slow GPS locking.

    Guys i figured it out...

    Turns out i accidentaly de-selected European maps on Garmin Express to open up some space for my watch.

    Never - Delete - Your - Maps :) I re-downloaded them and my GPS works like a charm now :)
