As I understand, Battery Saver mode and Airplane mode serve the same function of disabling Bluetooth and Wifi signals. However, when the Start button is pressed or an activity is started: both utilities are suspended and the watch continues to search for signals until the activity is finished.
I think that behavior for airplane mode is not intuitive/safe. Imagine that I am on a plane, I activate airplane mode, and I want to check my courses (navigation), or take a Health Snapshot. The watch should not continue to search for signals.
Implementing this solution would differentiate both utilities so that they are not completely redundant, achieve more intuitive and secure tools, and give the user more control over device functions.
