HRV status

I have to reset my watch because of the HRV status,it was on red, unbalanced about 3 weeks, because after Porto marathon i give a break on my training, and obviously started to loose fitness. Higher RHR means low HRV,so my HRV drops from high 70'ms to low 50'ms and because of that my training status,my morning report,my training readiness was completely off every single day. It's really annoying. Hope Garmin look at this and improve their algorithm

  • So did it work, resetting the watch?

Mine has beed unbalanced since nov 19th and low from the 24th and is now unbalanced again. This night however I had the lowest reading ever on 39....

  • I have the same problem. Today i did a Health Snapshot and the different between the HRV (RMSSD) 25ms and the HRV (SDRR) 89ms was very big. Is this normal?

  • No idea. I just reset my watch as well.

Don't know if it works, I'm just getting a bit frustrated about the number of things that doesn't work properly :-)

  • My HRV has been out of range since the 24th of October. That's one and a half month now. While the measurements are not moving back into range, the range is now moving towards the measurements. I don't know what to make of this. It got me worried in the beginning as well, that there was something wrong with me.

  • .

idem, stessa cosa anche per me! frustrante! Tocca un clip

  • Garmin this is not good for peoples mental health :-)  I reset my watch, but it keeps giving me very low scores and now all the rest info has to wait for weaks to appear again.

Is this a bug or what, Garmin.....if so fix it!

  • Since i reset my values are regular, not low,but in the same way before i started training to the marathon. Is on lows 60' s . But the base line before i reset was between 70 and 80 and something, that's the baseline when i was on great shape. Garmin have to adjust is algorithm on this otherwise in the end of every training cicle or after an injury we have to reset the watch

  • My hrv has gone down from 2 weeks. Now is 26 .....

Hope Garmin will fix soon this problem affects all training measurements.

  • Hello colleagues. I see myself reflected in you with this problem. After preparing for a race with Garmin's recommendations and after spending a week recovering from it, my HRV starts to be unbalanced. So, I only have it balanced when I follow the recommendation of garmin??? When you do more amount of sport, if not my HRV GIVES up to the improvement of health. Something very confusing for me, right.

    My SFW 13.22.

    Thank you

  • Same for me.

I just tried to reset the watch and now i'm in the 3weeks period (last week i hope).

It seems it's going to balance, but the baseline now is about 50ms, otherwise in the past (when hrv was balanced) was about 70/80ms.

Could be a glitch in the algorithm... anyway this period was very frustrating... some times i just guess how deep my hrv could be..

Obviusly all the other metrics are burst 'case of this...
