Blue Vertical Line on screen after 13.21

After updating to 13.21 and doing a treadmill run, my watch now has a 1 pixel wide vertical blue line down the very centre of the screen.

This is only visible with a "black" screen and isn't there when the screen is white or any other colour.

I'm thinking this is actually a software / firmware issue but as I've only had the watch a month I can send it back to the reseller if its something more serious than that. As I'm not seeing an avalanche of similar posts - should I just wait for the next firware update or send it back now?

i do not have this on my watch. it this persistent for any black screen. have you tried hard reset (not factory but hold down power button for 15 seconds and then wait a minute and then power up)?

It looks like screen hardware problem.

If it persists after hard reboot in all black screens, I say send it for replacement while you can.

Tried switching off & on again but the blue line appears as soon as the power returns, even before the Garmin logo appears on screen. Also tried a hard reset which has made things worse because now the watch completely refuses to connect to my phone.

have now started a return to the reseller…
