Weather location is not correct

Hello. The weather information of the watch is not correct and i don't really know how to fix it.

I live in Gediz but the watch shows the weather condition of Usak, which is 35km away from where i live...

Is this issue normal?

My FR 955 is only 1 day old

I've had a similar problem for over a year, both on my 955 Solar and 245 Music. It shows the correct airport code for my location, but seemingly makes up a temperature, not using one that the official…

It might be the closest official weather station in your area.

Why Does the Weather Widget's Information Not Match the Weather App on My Smartphone?

The weather information displayed on your device's weather widget is collected from the closest official weather station to your starting point. For the most part, local airports will be the official weather stations. The source of your smartphone's weather app may be different from the source from where your device's weather widget data is collected.

The same thing has been happening to me for two days. I've had the watch since June and the forecasts were from the area where I live now but it gives me the forecasts from a weather station 40 km away.I haven't changed any settings

This is due to a problem in the latest version of Garmin Connect 4.61, which the developers are ignoring.

The watch receives the weather forecast through an application that does not correctly determine the location.

Try rolling back to a previous version of the app.

I have version 4.60 of Garmin Connect and in the settings "use phone location". No problem, so I don't need the "use fixed location" option.

The problem with the weather in version 4.61 was confirmed for some users, after returning to version 4.60 the problem disappeared.

Yes, but with a fixed location you maybe find a weather station that is closer or is more comparable.

When I used phone location, it chose my city's airport as a weather station. I changed the location so that it chose the weather station fron central city, which is closer to me weather-wise

Reasonable. It can work well when you're in one place most of the time. I have trips where the weather can be different.

Do i have to re-pair my watch, start all over again or just delete the Garmin connect and install the previous version?

Usually, deleting an app will also delete its data, in which case you will need to re-pair the watch with the app.
