Injury or down time for a cold.

I have had my F955S for over 6 weeks now..

I am not too sure if I am missing something I have looked.. but if you get an injury or take a cold for instance. There does not seem anyway to tell the app that you are injured or having a week off for a cold.

This in turn throws all your stats that you might have built up (some times accurately other times not even close) out.

And then as is now, when you recover from injury and start to ramp things up again .. its keep telling me I should be relaxing and stop and whatever.. else.

But I am perfectly fine now but my watch and app tell me I am not!

Does the app eventually catch up again or does it keep telling me to slow down and recover and sleep more!

Or indeed can garmin introduce a injury mode that you can tell it I am inured I am not injured? and at least keep your stats close to accurate?

  • Go to training status - Open widget - hold "up" - select pause status (not sure if that's exactly what it says since I don't use english as language) - done.

  • i did do that..stats still go all out, as described.. and when I turn it on again that is when I start to get all the comments about slow down sleep etc. its really is a mess.. old saying rubbish in rubbish out.. and most of the stats are .. some times it can be pretty close but other times no where near. So it's unreliable.. health wise at least.

Navigation its very good and as such  going to use it for nav and timing on my training runs and Ultras.
