HRV Status in 13.15 is wrong

Has anyone else noticed that after installing13.15, HRV numbers are low. In my case the HRV Status went to unbalanced and I do not think it is due to lack of sleep or rest.

  • Same problem for the last 3 weeks.

  • Garmin is complicated with each new version fixes some things and spoils others. Better the polar that does not update the software so much but at least is more stable.

  • I have noted that my overnight HRV averages have dropped massively over the same time period, as much as 50%, way below the baseline range that I've been tracking since June. My training load has decreased, so I don't believe it is a rest issue.

However my sleep score numbers are also much lower, even though my sleep habits have not changed ... it's now almost impossible to record deep sleep, and REM seems less accurate than before. It often tells me I had none, even though I had a lot of dreams.

  • From Thursday, i.e. the update from 13.15 to 13.21, stress during sleep is displayed dramatically high. It's never been so "orange" before.

My sleep hygiene is steady, training is in the "oxygen" stage, and generally consistent weekly load and volume.

Other parameters (HRV, rHR measured in HRV4Training for over a year) do not indicate anything alarming.

To sum up, the last update broke something :/

  • Late to the thread, but jumped on the forum to see if anyone else has noticed this. HRV has dropped as much as 30-40 ms and keeps me in the unbalanced range despite no observable cause.
