Solar Intensity Scaling?

So can someone explain what the scaling on the 955 solar intensity means? I was outside today and saw 200% at one point not sure what that means... Am I too close to the sun ;)

200? Weird. I've never seen mine go over 100. Are you on beta firmware?

Good point, I am. Additionally, when I look at the data presented on the Garmin Connect website, the data never goes above 100%... I'll file a bug report.

Oh hello! Yes I got 130-200% today and the glance shows only 100.

I'm hoping like crazy garmin allow more % and more lux plsplspls

My guess: in specs sheet Garmin considers 50k lux as reference scenario.

Using phone sensor I've seen it show above 100k lux in mid-day sun. Makes sense that the watch says 100% under 50k lux and 200% under 100k lux.

Does it go over 100 if you use a 3rd party watch face too or just with the stock ones?I

'm using "Big Easy" watch face for example and I have solar intensity as a widget. I'm curious if that will display the same.or caps at 100.
