Same for me with 13.22. Been an issue will all versions since I got the watch in September. Also, other things stop syncing until the swim is synchronised sucn as pulse ox acc and more.
Have you guys also got the HRM? I'm asking that because at the end of my swim session it always ask if you want to syncronise with HRM, and I have to cancel that (quite annoying). I don't know if this is related or causes the sync problem.
I dont use my HRM when I swim. Agree that wanting to sync with HRM each time is annoying. I also notice that syncing after a swim always takes some additional effort.
So no one at Garmin reading this thread ? I believe it is an issue for all Forerunner 955 watch owners...probably what happens is that not all users swim, most run or do other activities and there seems to be no issue with those activities...Please Garmin, solve this swim sync issue, it is very annoying. Thanks!
I had the same problem with a running activity so I don't believe it's only about swim activities.
What I ended up doing was to connect my 955 to Garmin Express on my PC in order to manually look for the .fit file. To my surprise, the activity auto-uploaded OK when connected on Garmin Express.
955 is full of a myriad bugs, it's pretty sad as there is no other option out there :(
