thought i'd start a general discussion thread here (as opposed to bug reports): quick things i've noticed: new font for glances (smaller? thankfully still readable for these old eyes) the Solar intensity widget looks better with a line plot rather than using bars for every update interval as noted by others, Maps zoom seems to work a little better. a tap to the screen brings up the zoom buttons. from what i understood, the Fenix7/Epix2 can have a double tap to zoom in? that doesn't appear to work yet on the 955 it may be my imagination, but the interface feels more fluid again like the original FW. i recall the first update seemed to make things a bit more sluggish. not painfully so, but it seems that things are back to where they were several months ago. as typical, my glances got all sorted in weird order (not a huge deal) the watch reinstalled some previously uninstalled watch faces what have you all noticed?

lol, battery saver would be the only one I'd like to use from sleep mode but that one isn't there on the 955...

The 'custom sleep mode watchface' is not for me, I'd still like to check my HR for example... nice idea though.

I did this test. To me it seems fine. I had no issues. But as Derek87 says may be worth waiting for two weeks. (I know I wouldn't though :-) )

i tried it out last night. it gives a simple digital watch face with the outlined font found on the default face (the one with analog /digital combo) and also shows icons and date. i can see that it's "eye friend" as the screen doesn't emit much light.

after seeing it, i just went back to Big and Easy since it already has a fairly frugal DND/sleep mode and i get HR and other things i like seeing when i wake up or can check if i get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

1) IQ widgets crash when activity is paused and resumed later is fixed.

2) the map navigation crash bug is fixed

3) the altitude is now scaling correct.

Most of my most annoying bugs are fixed.

Now can swipe right to read insights instead of pressing start button. Nice? Many bug fixes at last!

Still no long press on map to show details. Still no scroll through graphs (like HR history). Still no charts data fields. Still touch on watch face to go to respective glance. Still no glance folders. All of these are in the Fenix 7.

Power averaging missing
In which wheel setting is the power averaging missing (the manual mentions this option)

When will this option return. It's still mentioned in the manual.

Hi derek,

along with other changes I'd add there's no more HRV max during the night; it shows only the avg data; I don't even know what's the point of having this max value but it was there and now disappeared

It's no longer highlighted indeed but you can still see the max and min as small numbers on the graph.
