Climbing activities do not remember difficulty level setting from last climb

This bug is applicable for both Climb Indoor activity and Bouldering activity and does apply for all Grading systems selected in the settings.

When I press BACK button to start next route, the offered difficulty level to select is always the same. It should offer the difficulty level set for the previous route, as this is very annoying. 

Also, the offered difficulty is absurdly low (e.g. II for UIAA grading system - nobody is climbing this, even complete newbies). The first offered difficulty at start of the activity should be little bit higher (like IV or V for UIAA and some corresponding difficulty for other grading systems).

Note: This is a persistent issue which was probably introduced at FR945LTE (never fixed) and copied into FR955.

Note: I already reported this issue in the Beta Program section, but it was ignored, because according to Garmin, the section is only for issues introduced in that particular Beta version. According to  advice, I am reporting here in the main thread. Garmin, please start paying attention, as this issue is being ignored since I reported it in June 2022!

    I fully agree on all points.  It should offer the difficulty level set for the previous route. And indeed this is a very annoying bug.

    If difficulty is remembered, the low first offered difficulty at start of the activity is not a such a big problem.

    Hello,

    yes fully agree. Remembering the last climbed grade for the next route would be the most natural behavior. You don’t wanna start from 2 each time and scroll down, that’s quite annoying.

    Hi , today, Public Beta 14.06 was released, but there is no information about touching the Climbing activities. When may we expect any update regarding this issue, please?

    All,

    We have released a fix in the latest software release that should resolve the report for most users experiencing these symptoms.  The software release should continue rolling out to all users in the coming days.  If you are still experiencing symptoms like the original report here, please start a new thread.
