Just bought a new unit... Upgrade fw or not?

...955 solar, with stock firmware 10.10

I see lot of pages with many bug reports, and they're scaring me! Should I upgrade or is better to do nothing, waiting for a real stable version? I think I'll not miss so many new features, am I wrong? At the moment the watch seems real stable. Thank you!

In my option the current 12.27 is better than 10.10

If you want to risk breaking your heart rate. I didn't update. What makes me nervous is Garmin saying that it is a current problem for some users, see the Fenix 7 and 255 Line groups.

I started having problem with optical HR today, after an outdoor walk.

Now the HR is coming and going. Looking at the HR widget its oscillating between value and "measuring" message. Even if the watch is well attached to the wirst.

Mine is fine with the upgraded firmware. No issues yet but I don't use my watch for smart watch features... Just exercise and daily activity/health tracking.

If you like having it more broken than it currently is, then don't upgrade. It all depends on your usage and how lucky you are. Like for me the 10.10 broke about all the metrics and watch was pretty useless on any advisory part.
