So, it seems that after the latest sw update (or it's just a coincidence) the watch's vibration is getting softer, almost seems like I can’t feel the vibration. It is just me? Can anyone say what are possible symptoms of vibration motor malfunction?
for me, it's comparable to the 945LTE, but i did note when i got the 945LTE that it seemed a little lighter than the 935, but i never compared them head to head because i sold my 935 within a couple days of owning the 945LTE.
in my case, the vibration is sufficient. i'd be curious to hear what other people share.
Just get my new 955, the alarm clock vibration is very weak (close to silence), while the rest of the notification vibration are fairly strong (call, message, calendar). The vibration strength are very different for alarm clock and the rest, looks like software issue for alarm clock vibration strength. This forum looks like for discussion but not much actions to fix it after 6 months for the same issue. Garmin support team please ???
when you mean "silent" are you talking about the intensity of the vibration or the audible sound? you can set alerts to be either or both vibration and sound. as i noted earlier, the vibration is sufficient enough to wake me (i'm a light sleeper) and i don't have the "sound" on, but i do use the sound component when i use the timer. (i only use vibration for phone calls, but other notifications don't come through... i haven't noticed a difference in vibration level, but i'll try to pay attention in the future)
