For God's sake Garmin, go back to the factory version of the 955.

each version a different bug, fix some things and break others. This one about the drop in heart rate is complicated. this has a big impact on training because everything is based on heart rate.

That's a 245 firmware? Anyway... downgrading usually is only supported when trying a beta, then you can downgrade to the latest official version again. Other then that, nope afaik.

Hey bud. That download page is NOT for 955.

The instruction on how to install firmware should be the same though. eGoist has the firmware for 11.12.

Yes for 245. eGoist has the 11.12 firmware.

So I am not sure if it works following the same installation.

What revolts is that Garmin does not comment on whether it is investigating this serious problem in HR.

For people's sake, do not go back! The factory version didn't work at all and was a total mess. At least now it somewhat works. And yes, YMMV.

It has been like that. Beta versions contained the previous firmware to downgrade to.

But with this new system.. I don't have any idea how one could do that? As where one could download the firmwares?

(Other than trying to get them from that machine if one updated with Garmin Express, the firmware is somewhere in local folders.)

Folks, my 955 order is in transit, what version of firmware the watch comes with and what should I do to prevent the watch from upgrading the to latest firmware which is perceived as very buggy from many in multiple forums, TIA. Also sorry about those that are going through the unbelievable amount of issues with latest firmware.

Yeap, of course. Extract zip. Place GUPDATE.GSP to the Garmin system folder. Disconect cable and wait...

And nothing happen. File just earasing from watch.
