Power and Grade Adjusted Updates for 955

Recently heard from DC Rainmakers site that the 955 will have 'wrist based' power as well as Grade Adjusted pace and other metrics... Is this something that is out? Also, if/when it is out is this something we have to be 'proactive' in downloading? Just downloaded the 12.27 upgrade... Not really sure what that is, but these features aren't working yet.

It should be in an upcoming alpha or beta version. Probably sometime this or next week. No alpha releases yet, but you can follow this announcement thread and set a notification for updates

Thank you. So, essentially, I won't have to do anything except to 'accept' the update when it comes? My device will be prompted to do so?

As long as you're enrolled in the beta program, that is the case, yes. Only alpha updates need to be installed by manually transferring the update over USB, which this is unlikely to be.

I just want the option to disable power from Garmin,I want to use the running dynamics from HRM pro plus without power, because I use stryd, don't need the power readings from Garmin
