No, and it's not on the list of things that were supposed to be fixed by either 12.25 or 12.27.

Same for me, the glance only works after going in the abc app and then back to the glance again. 

Yes , it's a well know item from 12.25 if I recall (if not earlier) . I have provided Garmin with screenshots and files t to substantiate the issue.

I look at it that these two Beta (25 and 27) were aimed at some issues that were of critical import (often times across many devices that new software also impacted) and that the more "cosmetic / smaller" issues will be addressed later (with hope)

I didn't have time to go for a run so far, but I mentioned that backlight doesn't go on after a gesture, but rather only pressing a button... somehow strange

I have my gestures set to off. Check yours maybe the new firmware reset it.

cadence was fine in my first run with 12.27. grateful for those who tested it before i took the plunge to the new firmware. my race estimations seemed reasonable on 11.12 and no real change today with a typical run.

I have 12.27 and can confirm that VO2 and race prediction are still a total joke. Those of us with the 955 have talked about going back to the 945/735 if it weren’t for the improved GPS track with multiband.

Same issue here. Moved from a FR945 with 5 times training per week and 10 days of battery to a FR955Solar same settings and now 5 days of battery...
Just called Garmin and they are going to investigate.
