Public Beta Version 12.27 is out

It's given me a race prediction of 20 mins for 5k when the best I've ever done was just under 23 mins and a marathon of 3.5 hours. Race prediction had been pretty accurate till this beta.

just needed to wait a little while

Updated even though I don't seem to suffer from any of the fixed issuesbut hoping they secretly fixed more ;)

But my go to "watch crashes when selecting point on map for navigation" at least still is present.. Luckily some things are consistent in the garmin firmware world, too bad it's something crashing the watch.

Can't remember how many years its been since race time predictions became a 'thing' from Garmin, but this is definitely the first time I could actually run the predicted 5k time. Usually too low by a minute or two, Yesterday my predicted time was appx 20:45. Today it's 22:45 and on a good day I could squeeze that out! 

Yeah, still present on 12.27 for me unfortunately.

I've done a test run on 12.27 and cadence looks alright. 

So far - 24 hours after installing 12.27

1. Cadence looks in line

2. Battery is similar to what I was experiencing before (so no additional surprises there). 15% in the 24 hours with one 30 min activity, full multi band (Titanium face and SPO2 overnight), probably more pfaffing on the watch than normal as one tends to test more things after a new install.

3. Race prediction times seem more in line with reality and probability

4. The race predicted time  in race widget of mine that was was really out of all reality is now normalised

So far no negative surprises and some of the larger issues seem to be resolved.

Now for the niggles and cosmetics....
