Random high heart rate

Recently I noticed my 955 records random high heart rate during resting. Attach is an example.

Anyone face the same issue? Not sure if it's related to 12.23 firmware.

  • ciao,

anche a me oggi durante una attività di ciclismo ho registrato un picco di 180 bpm quando in realtà stavo pedalando molto piano. Peccato, uno degli aspetti migliori del fr955 era proprio la precisione della frequenza cardiaca

  • Well, this is how my morning LISS looked. 955 with HRM-pro. I have experienced problems with the connection since FW 12.27 and odd heart rate curves like this. I have tried with a Polar Verity sense too and it is the same. From time to time there is very strange readings.

I hardly think that i during todays run was ever even close to my max (183bpm), while I yesterday on the other hand, never went above 135 despite doing an all out intensity weight session where the heartrate SHOULD be at or very near maximum. Maybe the sessions are being mixed up in the space/time warp Joy

    solved

  • Well, I haven't tried to DL from the Pro since it was connected live to the watch. Don't think it will differ a bit.

About the .fit-file I'll see if I can try and pick it out tomorrow.

Plan is for another 60 minute+ LISS tomorrow morning, let's see if I get odd readings for that one too.

  • happened to me today on my FR 255 - I have compared vs. my Polar OH1 arm-based HRM using a connect IQ data field:

  • Same problem here. HR starts too high and after a while it gets more “normal”. Tried tightening the watch on my wrist but it didn’t helped (actually once it did.. or the problem stopped right at the same time)
