Hi. So I use an HRM Pro (green one) to record my HR and running dynamics during my runs. Since update 12.20 (I'm enrolled in the beta) the HR recorded by my HRM has been artificially elevated by about 30 to 40 beats per minute. Initially I put on detraining, high humidity, and being a bit under the weather but today I had a run where my HR was above my lactate threshold (171 bpm) for an hour and ten minutes (avg HR 175) which made me suspicious (see screenshot below) as that being above my lactate threshold for that long doesn't seem likely nor was the effort that hard. So compared the HR shown by HRM Pro to measured by the taking my pulse using my finger and sure enough there was a discrepancy. I then viewed my HR on my watch and took the strap off and within 3 to 5 seconds that my watch took over measuring my HR, the reading dropped around 35 to 40 (from around 110 to 70, which was similar to that measured by my finger at that moment) and that drop seems physiologically improbable considering I was standing up, not walking, and did not sit down in between. So kindly test your HRM Pros with your 955s if you are on the 12.25 beta and see if you can spot a similar discrepancy. This would help me confirm if my HRM is faulty or if it is a beta bug. Thank you.
