GPS lock much slower after 12.23 update

Subject line says it all really. I always wait for GPS lock to go (and stay) green before starting a run. It was almost instant before, but since updating to 12.23 it feels like my old 945. Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone heard from Garmin about this?

    Hi,
    the same in my case. On previous firmware I got a fix, green GPS and all the time it was green so I was able to start an activity. Now it gets the fix, shows green GPS, after some seconds it shows red GPS without a fix, again green, again red, sometimes it stays in green and I can start an activity but sometimes not, then I have to go to main menu and choose an activity again and wait for fix, in some cases several times. In settings I have always "GPS ONLY".

    Same here. It now takes 12 - 15 sec to fix. Before update it was an instant of a second.

    Yes, this I notice too. With 11.12 the watch always instantly got a fix. Now it often takes 15s. Combined with several people saying their tracks got noticeably worse, it looks like 12.23 broke GPS accuracy too.

    This is with All Systems + Multiband, so it's not due to SatIQ (of course the software changes there might have broken things).

    same here, before 12.23 gps fix was nearly instant - now it can take a few seconds. 

    Tracking-Quality is, in my case, as good as before the update(s).
