Just give us a way to downgrade to the V11 software whilst these issues are sorted!

Please let those of us who want to downgrade to the v11 software we had before v12 with all its bugs

half the issue we have are new

in fact 12.2 beta seemed to have been better than 12.23!

I have v11.12 software file (can upload here), but all known for me methods of downgrade don't work. Does anybody knows how to roll back 12.23?

I’m sure it isn’t but they need to solve these issues properly and that takes time . Just rename 11.x to 12.30 and roll it out

Downgrading is not as easy as one might think.

You're watch will never see an lower version as an because new features are introduces you also cannot take the old firmware and give it an higher version number.

You could brick you're device.

If it would be possible at all Garmin have te make an proces where the watch will hard reset first.

But I would not count on it.

Agree - the watch was damn near perfect before the update. I don’t want to be a beta tester of final releases.

Considering tons of bugs of new firmware, Garmin should seriously consider a rollback or backup function !

I got file GUPDATE.GSP extracted from Forerunner955_v.11.12.zip. I put that GSP in the Garmin folder at my 955. But nothing happen. Can you please give more information how can i rollback to 11.xx ?

It won't help you. Update files don't normally contain the full firmware. Most only contain the differences between versions to keep their size down.

You risk bricking your watch.
