Bug: Backlight during sleep do not trigger when tapping

The touch is working properly, so I can move the screens, but the backlight do not trigger (during sleep) - I have to manually trigger the backlight with keypress.

  • There is a separate settings for backlight during sleep, have you checked that?

  • Yes. They seem to be correct, but tapping does not make backlight brighter - only keypressing.

  • Same here.

Screen backlight activation BY TOUCH in Do Not Disturb and Sleep Window time - It disappeared after last update (12.23). Does anyone know how to turn it back on?

Need a gentle touch on the screen at night (like it was before!) instead of pressing buttons. Touch function is stiil working, but backlight activated only after pressing any button.

  • Same for me. I have the "during sleep" mode set to turn the backlight on at 5% brightness with key press or touch, but can confirm with 12.23 that this does not happen. Backlight settings seem to revert to the "general use" profile during sleep, which is keys/touch off + gesture after sunset, at a higher brightness

  • The lack of touch screen backlight at night and in sleep mode is starting to get annoying. The touch screen is the feature that made me choose this model. Is it really that hard to fix this bug?
