Would be possible to add an option to select full colored numbers rather than just the shape with black inside? It would help a lot of people.
Watchface itself looks solid, but sometimes, specially indoors, it is pretty hard to read!

i agree that the default watch face would be better if it were more configurable. as you suggest, it's not very practical in low light with the outlined numbers. i personally think they did a much better job (as usual) with the Fenix 7 watch faces which combine digital/analog. some of the digital stock faces are fine, but there is zero interactivity using touch.
also, more disappointing, the touch interface on the stock face (analog/digital combo0 seems half baked for this in comparison to the factory watch faces supplied on the Fenix 7/Epix2.
as Spiderpig notes, there are a ton of efficient ConnectIQ watch faces out there are that very efficient on the battery. i haven't always found that to be the case for Connect IQ, but some developers have done a great job of being as efficient or more efficient than Garmin themselves.
depending on whether you want analog or digital, i'm sure people here can suggest some favorites that are reasonably efficient battery wise.
i too would love to see Garmin provide updates to the default watch faces, but i've never seen that happen for any of the previous Forerunner watches i've owned (735XT, 935, 945LTE)
what kind of battery consumption are you seeing with Glance Pro? it's one of my favorite watch faces, but with 1hz (always on) seconds, i don't find it as miserly as a couple others i rotate between. without seconds always on, i see 6-7%/day, but it seems its probably closer to 9%/day with seconds always on. (although i confess: i never leave it on long enough to get enough reasonably reliable statistics)
(i don't always need seconds on, but it's helpful when i'm doing a lot of rehab stretching and exercises where seeing the seconds is very helpful. (i count way too fast in my head :) )
[i get closer to 5-6%/day consumption with Coros Apex Like and Minimum Vertical 2 with them showing seconds always on]
I've not really tracked the battery usage of Glance Pro I'm afraid. It lasts for more than a few days, so I'm happy with that. I disabled the seconds counter because it was a bit of a distraction for me. I always have access to power, so battery life from one charge to the next isn't really a conscious concern for me. I'm just glad I don't have to put it on charge every night.
