HELP - auto lap by location feature not available in 955?

Dear All, I'm surprised to find out that auto lap by location feature is not available (no such option) in my newly bought 955. However, it's available on my previous 745 watch. Does anyone observe the same behavior and will Garmin support that in future releases? Surprisingly why Garmin take that away from 955? :)

Yea, its not present... i was shocked when i found out, also epix/f7 has auto sport change in SWIMRUN profile, 955 does not. Personally i was using f7 sapphire solar but changed to epix due to dull MIP…

I don't think 745 has that option. That option has been missing from Garmin wearables since 2015 or so. Reasons unknown.

Personally i was using f7 sapphire solar but changed to epix due to dull MIP screen with sapphire. I got 955 for testing and it was great for MIP and comfort of wearing but that software gap...

There is an app called RunSafe+ available on CIQ store which has this feature

thanks for replying, I double checked “auto lap” setting on my fr745 but I can only see “auto distance” instead of “auto position”, any idea how to make that option available for selection?

I don't own a 745 but Ive seen two owners post that their 745 has that option. Perhaps check different activities maybe its only available on some specific activity?

I think you mean 955 that you double checked on your 955. Yes, 955 doesn't have this feature hence this thread. Only 745 and Fenix 7 have this feature.
