I had a 3 hours nap on Tuesday from 3 to 6 pm.
I slept again on Tuesday night.
GC registered my sleep for the afternoon one. Not the night one.
My user setting sleep time is set at night.
Anyone facing similar issue?

It Looks like only 1 sleep period is saved for a day. I Had a nap during the day and the nightsleep vanished. this caused indeed the training readiness went way off.
Can multiple sleep periods for one…
I read a book for 2 or 3 hours in the afternoon and the night sleep disappeared. My sleep score went from 82 to 48, and even entering my sleep start and end times doesn't correct the sleep score.
…I think I've seen the same thing on my FR255.
In the first week after purchase, it did something very weird and actually activated the sleep mode during the day (the screen changed to the sleep watchface…
Happened to me a few times now. I had a quiet evening last night reading a book on the couch. It started registering my sleep time at 1926 with a lot of awake time before I finally went to bed later that night. Result was a very bad sleep score and that happens quite often. And that affects other things like training readiness which is kind of useless for me now.
On Monday afternoon I was "in the zone" doing a lot of typing for my job (programmer) solving a problem I hoped I'd crack before I finished that day, but because of that I was not moving about much. It counted that four hour period as sleep.
Maybe I should turn move alerts back on.

Garmin, when will this be fixed???
I think I've seen the same thing on my FR255.
In the first week after purchase, it did something very weird and actually activated the sleep mode during the day (the screen changed to the sleep watchface). I found that my sleep period settings in my user profile were set to strange values. Because I am a new user, I wasn't sure whether a bug corrupted my profile or whether I just did something wrong when trying to set it up on the first day.
But, I see a few days in the past month of sleep stats where there is a short 1-3 hour sleep instead of my usual 7-8 reported in the morning report. When I viewed a couple of them, they also showed an afternoon time period when I was likely working at a computer.
So far I have been editing my sleep time.
User has configured their sleep time.
So I don't understand why Garmin doesn't initiate the sleep algorithm around the configured window. This should be the auto detection mode.
There could be a manual mode for user to start and stop their sleep.
