"Old" routes are displayed during a current run

Hello all,

I'm currently "playing" with the navigation feature and have a question about it respectively the map display or the route is displayed. I have uploaded a photo of my Forerunner 955. I have a route created by the watch and you can see the course as expected in purple with white arrows. But you can also see in red a route that I ran just about a week ago. I went through the settings and changed some variables, but this "old" route is always shown. I think it's a bit confusing having these two routes displayed. Is this a bug or a feature? Can the "old route" be hidden with some setting I haven't found yet?

    On the Edge devices it's done like this:

    For each course saved to your device, you can customize how it appears on the map. For example, you can set your commute course to always display on the map in yellow. You can have an alternate course display in green. This allows you to see the courses while you are riding, but not follow or navigate a particular course.

    1. Select Menu > Navigation > Courses.
    2. Select the course.
    3. Select Settings.
    4. Select Always Display to make the course appear on the map.
    5. Select Color, and select a color.
    6. Select Course Points to include course points on the map.

    The next time you ride near the course, it appears on the map.

    Can't see this option on the 955 though. If you delete the course from the watch does it disappear from the map? Just wondering if it's a course or an activity it is displaying.

    That's the strange thing, it is an activity on the map, not a saved route.

    I think I have figured out three things.
    It is a bug and not a feature.
    It is reproducible (at least for me).
    I know a way to make the activity that is erroneously displayed on the map disappear.

    In detail: I deleted my three saved routes from the watch. This "ghost track" was still visible on the map. I played around with all the settings I could think of. The track was still there. I turned my watch off and then on again. The track was gone. 

    A few minutes ago, I went for another run. Just a plain run, no route, no navigation. After the activity was saved and I kind of test started a new activity with map view, the last activity reappeared on the map.

    I turned the Forrerunner off and on again and the old activity was no longer shown on the map.

    I'm pretty sure this is not a intended feature.

    And as a matter of fact: The subject I've chosen is wrong or misleading at least. Should be "Old" activities are displayed during a current run".
