Notifications

I’m still getting notifications even though I have turned them off.

I am also experiencing this bug and reported this issue here (last week) and directly to Garmin Support. However, I have found a workaround of sorts.

On the watch itself, go to Settings > Connectivity > Phone > Notifications > Status -> and set status to OFF.

I call this the nuclear option because it disables ALL phone-based notifications for both the watch's General and ACTIVITY-specific modes.

One more recommendation: Before you set STATUS = OFF, go to the watch notifications widget and delete all notifications first. Then set status OFF.

With STATUS = OFF, you can't interact with the notifications that are already on your watch.

Have exactly the same problem. Hope it will be fixed soon. Totally annoying.

Do you have Garmin Golf installed? I found that the Golf app competed with GC for notifications. As soon as I deleted the Golf app my problem went away.

Hello, I have the same problem. Turned off Phone notifications in the watch menu and still getting notifications from my phone when Bluetooth is turned on (WhatsApp,...). FW 12.27

I've got the same issue with version 14.15. Still getting phone notification while they are turned off in the connectivity settings.
