I have checked my HR using the HR glance before I went to bed after charging the watch to 100%; in the morning the HR glance was still showing on the screen

and the battery dropped to 82% overnight the first time such a drastic drop; the other nights was around 5% with the pulse OX on. I tried again this morning and the

glances do not return to the watch face after a period of inactivity, I have to manually use the return functions (touch or buttons) to get back to the watch face.

I was wondering if anyone had this issue.  In my Fenix 5X the widgets will time out after a minute or so.

    I left mine on the HR glance and it returned to the watch face after a minute or two. Actually forgot about it but when I remembered and looked it had returned. Wasn’t more than 5 minutes. I didn’t try from within the HR widget itself, this was just from the glance as you said above.

    I just tried. Doesn't return to watch face after a few minutes.

    Is there or shouldn't there be an option to configure this ?

    Just tried mine again and mine definitely does go back automatically to the watch face from the HR glance. I watched it this time til it did. 2-3 minutes. Firmware 11.12.

    I have not seen an option to control that function, did you check the manual?

    OK I just tried.

    If you go Widget (HR)-> Heart rate graph, watch face will appear after timeout.

    If you are at Widget (HR), there is no timeout.

    If you are at Widget(HRV Status), there is no timeout.

    Seems like the timeout is only on the detail page? Can you try?

    Tried from the HR Graph and it went back to watch face after a few minutes. Will try some of the others in a few.

    Ok I’ve tried HR glance screen, HR graph screen, HRV Status glance screen and HRV status 7 day avg screen and all time out and go back to the watch face within a few minutes on mine.

    Strange mine don't go back to watch face. Same problem like OP.

    Now question is, is there a setting to configure?

    Yes, I agree, very strange. Check the manual, could be something there about it.

    That's exactly how mine is.  It will return to the watch face from any detail glance; if I just swipe up or down, no matter which glance it stops on

    it will not go back to the watch face. I am on the latest 11.12  firmware.

    That's how mine is. It will return to the watch face from any of the detail glance; but if I swipe up or down on any of the glances  from the watch screen, it will not do the same, no matter which of the glances it stops on. I am on the latest firmware 11.12
