Touchscreen and battery life

Hello Everyone,

Out of curiosity does disabling the touch screen consume a lot of battery or no? I don’t use it too much and I was wondering if it made a difference.

Thanks!

Mike

  • I don't think the touch screen takes up that much battery - I think the main drains are the screen, processor and sensors.

You could always try disabling touch for a week or two and seeing how that changes the battery life, but you'd have to try and ensure that the usage of the watch is almost exactly the same for your on and off periods.

But if you don't use it that much, you may as well turn it off.
