solar screen performance

today i tested the solar screen on a very sunny day. left it fully in the sun for 1 hour.

percentage went from 55% to 56% with a solar intensity of 100%

did anyone with a solar screen tested this and found better results?

i hope this will improve in time with the coming software updates, or maybe there is somthing wrong with it?

  • Exactly. I find it better looking than regular. Also it's pretty easy to test solar efficiency. Just make thd same exercise two times in the same sun condition. One with the screen exposed to the sun, the other mask it.

  • What's with the pointless hyperbole? Smiley

10 hours without solar and with UltraTrac enabled would burn an estimated minimum of 12,5% battery. 10 hours with solar would burn through roughly 9% of battery life. Again, this is with minimal use of the watch (constantly displaying the map on screen would drain the battery much faster).
