Android File Transfer with Garmin Connect (MacOS) and 955

Anyone one here using Android File Transfer with the 955? I'm used it with other Garmin devices one problem but with the 955 Garmin Connect just starts looping (not crashing..lol). I removed AFT and the problem went away but so did by ability to transfer files easily. FYI it works fine with the Fenix 6.

Thoughts???

    works fine with me in grabbing stuff to send to Garmin in conjunction with my many bug reports. this was with a mac at home running Big Sur.

    Damn I wish it worked for me, I just get in this death spiral. I'm using all the latest versions for GarminConnect, Android File Transfer, Mac OS. If I remove ATF, GConnect works fine. I wish I could easily turn off ATF and turn it back on when I need it. It seems you have to remove it from the OS. Just turningit off through the Users & Groups prefs setting does nothing until you restart.

    Do you know if any other apps that work like Android File Transfer?

    FYI, is only a issue when I plug in the 955 and the other Garmins (that support Music) work fine.

    i'm not sure what to suggest. when you mention Garmin Connect, i assume you mean Garmin Express?

    when i try to use GE and AFT is running, GE will complain and tell me AFT needs to close. if i click ok, it automatically quits AFT for me.

    what MacOS are you running? like i said, i'm running Big Sur at home. just for kicks, i tried running AFT at work right now on a machine that runs Monterey and it's fine too.

    wish i could help you debug this, but i haven't encountered any of these problems with this watch or my previous watches (945LTE, 935, 735XT)

    Opps (big mistake) I am talking about Garmin Express! My Mac OS isn also at 12.4/Monterey. I also get the message that AFT needs to quit and right after that, that's when the show starts. I am try to remove LuLu.
