Anyone have this available?
I think most people here think the same: Garmin should deliver what they promise, but what they deliver is buggy all over.
Don´t feed the 7413611-Troll :-)
He´s just living in his own world and can…
Maybe it is still too buggy to distribute..
And let’s be honest who look at a map when running?
I look at the map when I run ultramarathon in the mountains, like many other runners ;-)
as much as i'm in the chorus of disappointed owners recognizing a long list of bugs and things needing to be fixed, i have to say you are correct. the touch interface feels much more refined now.
i monkeyed around with maps for about 5-10 minutes just now and it didn't crash and it worked pretty much as i would hope it would (no double tap functionality as has been previously noted) and most of all: i didn't crash like it did with 10.10 with minimal fiddling.
so they clearly did some real work here. the just have a lot more to do. :p
and it worked pretty much as i would hope it would
What I fiddled the one tap to the map works pretty weirdly. Jumps sometimes were far and not very logical and constant how it works, but swiping around seems to work. I would expect one tab to like center to map to the tap point but I didn't figure out what it is supposed to do and how.
yes.you are correct. a single tap is bizarre and doesn't act as expected? it almost seems like a calibration issue or something. i at first thought it was zooming in, but it wasn't. does anyone know if a single tap centers the map on the tap location for the Fenix 7/Epix2?
wonder if one of us should contact Garmin about this behavior with a video showing the odd behavior...
