Forerunner 955 hardware revision A and beyond

Hello,

Is there already a revision B for the Forerunner 955?

I remember for the Forerunner 945, I had a revision A with mushy/sticky buttons. Then when I switched to a revision C, it was fixed.

In case of the Forerunner 955, I wonder if it is also worth to wait a new hardware revision just in case some hardware problem is fixed or get some tweaks.

Where do you see the hardware revision of FR955? I can't find any marking on the case.

On the other hand, there is a "HW Rev" field in the service menu (see https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-955-series/300549/hidden-development-and-service-menu).

My watch says "HW Rev V2" in the service menu, which is very different from others, claiming here A or B...

Hardware revision is stated on the box. Mine states "Rev A"

I checked my box and I doubt that the string "Rev A" (in my case) is connected with hardware revision of the watch. The text is printed on the box, so I think it is more connected to the box itself, then the watch. On the other hand, the serial number of the watch on the box is on the sticker, not printed.

Regarding HW revision of the watch, I would rely on the line from the service menu as I stated above, my watch says "HW Rev V2".

There is two rev markings on the box.

One on the side (top part of box) and one on bottom under box

I have revision B on the lid and revision A on the bottom. The 10-digit number combinations only differ by 1 digit. Is that the case with you too?
