Garmin Pay

No way to add Garmin Pay (VISA) with the FR955. 945 worked fine.

An “error” is continuously shown.

It’d be interesting to know if any iOS users have been able to get garmin pay setup with the 955

i had problems when i originally got my 955. i have a USBank card which i used with my 945LTE. the problem was (i think) is that my card was in limbo between the watches. it showed the card listed as available…

I can only get so far as to set up a password. The. on pressing any of the card types (Mater Visa etc). it just gives me an error message. Does multiple resets , delete device and repair etc and the same…

i had problems when i originally got my 955. i have a USBank card which i used with my 945LTE. the problem was (i think) is that my card was in limbo between the watches. it showed the card listed as available on the Connect iOS app but it wasn't active on the watch. i tried to call the bank and they weren't very helpful and sent me on a wild goose chase.

however, my solution was i removed the card from Garmin Pay on the app, and started from scratch and added it as a new card. it then gave me the proper phone number with US bank to call and get it activated.

yeah, I had tried that as well. I removed the card I had working for my F6 (so there was no longer a card listed in GConnect), still same issue. I get to the point where I add the card and name details, sometimes I get "card was not added, try again" or "bank declined your card, contact your bank". I know there's nothing wrong with the card as my wife was able to add the card to her 255m on her iPhone (just for testing, and has been removed now). I don't really feel like going through the hoops with my bank, as I'm pretty sure they'll say the issue isn't on their end. I'm starting to consider just returning the 955 solar for now and get a 255, but my wife's 255m screen is washed out with the backlight like my F6 (955 is fine).
