Training Readiness in Garmin Connect app only updates after sleep

In the GC app (Android), the Training Readiness values don't update during the day, and only match the values on the watch just after the morning report. You can see the card updating briefly with the current value during a sync, but then it goes back to the value it got at the end of sleep.

Yes only in the watch training readiness values change during the day until midnight, after that no values until you wake up. In the app only shows the value of the morning report until next day

Why is that? The widget itself in GC shows the current value of the day and when you click on the widget, you see the morning values? Is this intended?

Yeah. Training Readiness score changes during the day only at watch widget and at the main page GCMobile. But its freezenig at GCWeb and when you click on the widget GCM. It is little bug and I think have to be fixed.
