Impact of Stress History on Training Readiness

Are there any resources to learn what impact Stress History has on Training Readiness, and what happens if your 955 doesn’t read that data?

I’m interested in monitoring and experimenting with this metric, but in the past I’ve worn an Apple Watch (instead of my Garmin) during the day. I’m contemplating a scenario where I wear the 955 for sleep and workouts, and then my AW during waking hours, but I’d like to know if that renders the feedback Training Readiness supplies inaccurate.

  • Not totally sure but I would think you are meant to wear a watch for this sort of stuff (either the 955 and/or your Apple Watch) most of the time to give the algorithms the fullest picture of you.

I have often seen things like "your restful day has reduced your recovery hours" (or something like that). If you aren't wearing your 955 in the day how could it know.

  • +1 - it needs to be worn to give the full (per Garmin) picture !
