Import GPX points to Map

Is it possible to import GPX file with points to the Map? for example I want to add drinking water points - https://kraanwatertappunten.nl/about-the-map/ or maybe somehow to simply the process maybe with garmin connect website, but not with watches and add each point manually

  • Created this route couple of years ago. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/39752775

    Exporting GPX says that they are just WPT:
    <wpt lat="61.15731802491788" lon="26.85751271599634">
    <ele>0.0</ele>
    <name>Vesi,WC</name>
    <type>WATER</type>
    </wpt>

    So yes.. you can then have the wpt in the GPX and add the GPX to your GARMIN\NEWFILES and it should be imported as course.

  •  if FR955 works like FR945 - you can add it through Basecamp. FR955 is so buggy and unifinished that i would not test it ;P

  • but in this case, you can't have a real running course. I thought if it will be possible to import\intergrate exactly with the Map functionality that shows points of interest.

  • Can't have real running course? Isn't that a course, but if there's a problem with that suggestion then you are probably wanting to have POI's on the map, regardless are you using a course or not. I understood you wrongly then.

    So you won't be doing some specific course but you just have your own POI on the map where you have the toilet locations.

    Haven't tried that, I would start installing Garmin Explore app and trying that will it work. I'm not sure how Forerunner's (or Fenixes) are compatible with own custom POI's.
