How well goes the 955 recognize wrist gesture?

My FR745 doesn't do a good job of recognizing a wrist-turn gesture (eg. when I turn the watch to look at the screen).

My Epix 2 DOES do a great job.

I was wondering if how well a given watch's wrist-turn gesture recognition works might be related to the weight of the watch.

How well does the FR955 work for wrist-turn gesture recognition? Does it work perfectly, or does it - like my FR745 - think that regular arm movements during running are wrist gestures?

For me, it’s very natural - I raise my wrist to check the watch and the backlight comes on.

Telling GC which wrist you wear your watch on probably helps.

Oh, I already do that (tell it which wrist I use). But the FR745 was really bad at turning on when I wasn't looking at the watch, but the Epix was great at it.

Mine has been fine as well.

i find the wrist gesture excellent on this watch, as it was for the 945LTE. it wasn't as good, however on my older 935.
