Question to garmin employees

Hello garmin!

Due to the many bugs, the Forerunner 945 can hardly be used properly.

Is there a known bug list?
These should be published and continuously maintained. So not everyone has to report the same bugs over and over again.
In addition, it should state when the error will be corrected.


When will the beta area open?
This would make reporting bugs much easier.


I would be happy to hear a statement from Garmin.

    It’s where you can’t edit your heart rate zones, at least to match watch they were previously. Normally whenever I’ve set up a new Garmin my zones come across, they didn’t in this case and all look to be set to default. 

    For example my maximum running HR zone is 113% LTHR but the max I can set on the 955 is 106% which is a massive let down for me. I’ve gone back to using my Instinct 2 for now.

    I'm so sorry you're having so many troubles with the watch! I've been there with other Garmin products for sure (my early adopter experience with the 945 and the Edge820 were super painful, especially the 820. The 830 was a little smoother for me).

    My 955 experience surprised me since I was braced for a bumpy ride and it's not been so for me -- it's a pity others are getting the bumps.

    I hope they get revised software released soon that resolves the issues. In solidarity with you, man!

    Glad you’ve had a good experience and I’m confident Garmin will iron out these issues.

    Out of interest, if you receive a notification can you view it? For example I might receive a message, I can see who it’s from but I can’t see the content.  Looks to be another bug I think.

    I do get notifications and I can read them -- however in a couple of cases I had to tap it or hit a button to see the whole message. In other cases I could read the first lines. I assumed the difference had to do with how the message was formatted.
