Visible touchscreen grid

I noticed that my 955 Solar screen shows little "points" like a grid all over the screen. In this photo they are visible only in part cause backlight effect. The points are all aligned like a "grid". Does anyone noticed this thing?

They're on the non-solar version too. Definitely something touchscreen related. Reminds me of old Casio calculators.

If you look at any phone screen at the right angle, you'll see this sort of pattern too. It's the transparent conductive grid for the capacitive sensor.

It's usually made of ITO: en.wikipedia…

Nope, but I'd assume it's the solar layer and not touch...

It's not visible on my Fenix 7X SS.

My bad, was looking at the wrong "parts"... Didn't notice the white dots at first. Haven't noticed them on my 955 solar yet, will take a look later...

Same here. I just got my watch, and I instantly noticed it. They are not visible in Fenix 7 solar tho.

yes you can see it on the non solar version during the day if you look at it in an angle thats not 90 degrees. it looks kinda cheap and disappointing for a 500-600 usd watch tbh. i guess its embedded in the screen?
