Not seeing weather on 955 running iOS 15.5 (if you are running iOS beta, feel free to monitor thread's traffic)

I'm not sure if I've missed something, but I'm not seeing any weather data on my new 955.

My linked iPhone has been set to Always share location data with Garmin Connect, so what else am I missing here?

My iPhone 11 Pro is running iOS Developer Beta.

    I going to unpair from the ios16 device and pair to an iOS 15 device to see

     I Unpaired from iOS16 Beta 1 device and paired to an older device with iOS 15.5 and we have weather widget populating.

    Ok, so that's the issue then.  I assume it'll be fixed at some point by Apple or Garmin and not really worry about it.

    I kind of assumed this would be more of a wide issue, but I'm fine with it being a Beta problem.

    Funnily enough I unpaired from the IOS15.5 device and have paired back to the iOS16 device and it still seems to update ...of course I suppose one needs a bit of a longe window to see...I shall update the post later in the day .

    Still updating and reflecting so far paired to the iOS 16 device (after unpaired from the iOS15.5 device as mentioned above)

    Ok so it still shows information on the widget but the last Update is showing as almost 5 hours ago , so basically who it was paired to the iOS15.5 device. If the GC App is closed (not in background) it asks for it to be opened to see th hourly / daily screen on the widget a they come back after opening the GC App. So it seems like it is just reflecting the old data and not updating. I suppose we shall see what happens tomorrow...

    Weather was there, did the 10.10 update, it wasn't there anymore.. synced, no, still not there, but now after a run it's again there. So seems like it's not synced with sync always or something. Android GCM.

    Doesn't much help you, but maybe if someone sees that the same and is worried it's not working, it might still be, just given with time.

    I’m in a conversation with Garmin support on Facebook about this (slow conversation, I get one response a day). It seems as though this is a ios16 issue. I’ll report back if I learn anything interesting.

    Garmin support has opened a case on my behalf for this problem.  This surprises me because I'm using iOS Beta (which they know).  I'll report back if I learn anything further.

    I have had the watch for a week and it was working fine, now today 6.16.22 it's not pulling current information. I have done ALL the things you should do before you ask for help; resert, Keep GC open, start the activity to get GPS lock, privacy/location setting, and nothing!

    For the watch face I am using (Quatro) I resolved the issue by installing the OpenWeather API that works great. But it does not address the ability to get the weather forecast information that the Garmin Weather (should) provides.

    This seems to be a case of...EAS (Early Adopter Syndrome) ;)
