How to delete a copied widget from the watch?

When a widget (Something.prg) will be moved onto the watch it won't be seen anymore in the file system but is available on the watch. But how to get rid of that widget again?

I've installed two test widgets and now both can't be removed permanently.
- no widget is seen in the Garmin\Apps directory
- I can move them from the active list to the inactive widgets but nothing else
- I can't find a possibility in the Connect app to delete them again

Any hints?

You need to use the Connect IQ Mobile app or Garmun Express. On newer devices, like the 955 CIQ device apps/glances get moved and hidden.

The Connenct IQ app did not work and I found the problem - the 'AppName' of the different widgets (glances) have been identical. Played around a while on the watch and could remove it - so I didn't need to reset it ;-)

Would be nice if you would also say what did you do for the next person having the same problem and reading this forum. I don't think "Played around a while" will help on that.

You're right, but I can't tell you the steps exactly as I tried to use the configurstion menu seen at the bottom of the widgets , where you can change the active to an inactive state. In the main configuration ('Apps') deleting failed, in the Connect app I didn't find even a point to remove a widget and so on...

Later on, one if the two widgets could be deleted from the main setting menu, but not the other one (which was active in the widget list), but after hiding the widget it also could be removed...

...next time, I'll write down the steps to offer a better description.
