Activity is unvalid

Hey,

I have just finished my first marathon and wanted to save the run. Unfortunately, Garmin says that the activity is unvalid. I did some research and found that there are Fit File Repair Tools. I tried to use them but I have no idea how to exactly do it. Could someone help me with the file? I would be really happy.

Try a manual upload from your Garmin device to Garmin Connect Web - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get an error, try running the fit file through FIT File Viewer—it works in the browser and can often fix corrupted files.

If you still get an error, attach the file to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Works well, but does require a Windows computer with Microsoft Access installed and a payment to export a repaired file.
