Will YouTube music be available on 945?

One thing lacking for me is that there's no YT music app on here, so I have to take my phone on all my runs. Yes, there's spotify and Amazon but I prefer YT music and I'm premium on there. Any time frame for this update?

The app developer is Google, maybe you should contact the developer from the IQ store

That would be nice, but given the release date of the Forerunner 945 (April 2019) it is unlikely there will be any new features added. When YouTube music was made available in June of 2024, the decision was made to go as far back as the 255/955 series.

Haha are you mad about something? The app is already on several watches including forerunner branded watches, so it's obviously a decision made by Garmin and not Google. I guess I understand the reason provided above, it's just a bummer.

There is a strong possibility that I am mad , depends who one asks I guess :-) . AFAIK different watches have different setups and the developer sometimes needs to adjust things to suit. For example many watch faces haven't been adapted to Amoled watches yet by the developers. Anyway it was just a polite suggestion that may help in gaining some clarity. I have decided to do it for interest myself now.
